How to upload files using FTP
In this article, we use the FTP software, FileZilla. You can download a copy of this software for your system at http://filezilla-project.org/download.php
- Open the FileZilla software
- In the Host: field, enter ftp.YOURDOMAIN
- In the Username: field, enter the FTP user account you received in your Welcome email
- In the Password: field, enter the FTP password you received in your Welcome email
- Click [Quickconnect]
- In the Remote site: section of the window, double-click the wwwroot folder.
Place files you want to appear on your web site in this folder.

How to change your FTP password
- Logon to the control panel at http://admin.anySiteHosting.com (or http://admin.YOURDOMAIN)
- Click the Domains icon
- Click your Hosted Domain
- Scroll down the page and click the FTP Accounts icon
- Click the account you want to change the password for
- Enter the new password and click Save
